Toyota doubles its annual profit; quake hinders fourth-quarter earnings
Toyota Motor Corp. Wednesday reported a surge in annual profit, but its fourth-quarter earnings tumbled after the massive earthquake in Japan brought the company’s operations to a halt in March, the last month of the Japanese fiscal year.
