Volkswagen: Porsche merger timetable may slip
Volkswagen AG’s CEO says that the car maker’s planned merger with Porsche AG may not be completed next year as planned. The German news agency DAPD reported that Martin Winterkorn said at a Porsche event in Stuttgart Tuesday the merger “may be delayed.”

Toyota says no timetable to develop Tesla vehicle
Toyota Motor Corp., the world’s largest automaker, said it doesn’t yet have a formal plan to develop an electric car with startup Tesla Motors Inc., after a report that such a project will occur this year.
