Staten Island New Toyota Dealers Excited To See New Sub-Compact Debut At International Auto Show

Detroit isn’t exactly exciting these days, but one annual staple of the city is still alive and kicking. This year’s North American International Auto Show served as a stark reminder that the auto industry is down but not out. Innovations and new technologies from almost all of the major auto makers proved that the industry is committed to its renewed focus on fuel efficiency and reducing its impact on the environment. At the same time, a lot of manufacturers stepped forward and showed that they can still bring the same power in neater, more efficient packages.

As the leader in fuel efficiency and progressive driving, Toyota stepped up yet again this year at the Detroit Auto Show to reveal a new model, continuing the new direction Toyota has taken over the last few years. This new subcompact hybrid is bound to get NJ Toyota drivers into a frenzy. Unfortunately, we don’t have too many details yet about this new vehicle, but we do know a couple of exciting details will have your Newark new Toyota dealer seeing a huge boost in business.

Toyota is talking about marketing this vehicle under the “Prius” brand to extend the reach of the best-selling and highly acclaimed name. Even though the Prius is extremely affordable at a base $22,400, we’re expecting that the new subcompact hybrid will cost significantly less. The new car is expected to go into production in late 2011 for a U.S. release in early 2012, at which point your Staten Island new Toyota dealership will have these innovative vehicles in stock.

NJ Toyota drivers are also excited about the mileage the new subcompact hybrid is expected to get, which Toyota claims will be even higher than the Prius’ 51 miles per gallon in city driving. That would make the new model the best in its class, a detail that will show great returns for your Newark new Toyota dealer.

While Toyota has been busy making a name for itself as one of the more progressive manufacturers, the Japanese automaker has had some struggles as of late. Staten Island new Toyota dealerships will tell you that massive recalls undertaken by Toyota hurt business over the course of 2009. This new car should serve to help reestablish Toyota’s reputation for reliability and progression in a shaky automotive industry.

Even though we’ve seen Toyota falter as of late, let’s not forget the role the Prius played in revolutionizing the industry just a few years ago. Still sporting the highest fuel economy in the industry, the Prius continually sets milestones in efficiency and stands as a stalwart reminder of the direction in which the industry is headed. So remember who did it first and continues to do it best this winter as we strive into a new decade. And keep your eyes and ears open for the brand new innovation that Toyota will launch for subcompact car lovers everywhere. NJ Toyota drivers will be happy they did when they’re driving around in one of the most fuel efficient cars on the market.

There has been a lot of commotion about the recent recalls enacted by Toyota. And rightfully so: the apparent brake problems with the Japanese manufacturer’s market-leading vehicle, the Toyota Prius, have led to some serious injuries – even, in some cases, deaths. The consequences of this transgression have come at a time when the automotive industry is finally beginning to gain back some of the brand loyalty and customer trust that it lost during the recession, the collapse of the Big Three and the subsequent bailout ordered by the U.S. government. Just as faith is beginning to be restored, an industry leader comes out of nowhere and knocks us back into the Stone Age.

However, while Toyota fights its battle, its high-end sibling is bringing some positive spin back to the auto market. Staten Island new Lexus drivers are confident that the transgressions purported by Toyota will not extend to their brand, a name held high in the opinions of many luxury car drivers. And consumers aren’t the only ones recognizing the quality that Lexus seems to serve up year after year; the media is getting in on the action, especially after J.D. Power and Associates named Lexus the top-ranked luxury brand and the number one brand overall in customer service in the organization’s annual Customer Service Index Study (CSI). The results of the study are expected to reflect well on Staten Island RX dealers across the area.

Much to the excitement of Staten Island Lexus RX hybrid drivers, this study was performed by one of the highest respected organizations in the industry. According to J.D. Power, the study combines the satisfaction levels of car owners visiting service departments for maintenance or repair with dealer performance over the first three years of ownership. While much of the study reflects directly upon Staten Island new Lexus dealerships, this is a huge win for the Lexus brand itself. The study was completed with the following five categories in mind: “service quality, service initiation, service advisor, service facility and vehicle pick-up.”

The announcement specifically points to Lexus’ dependability, saying, “Lexus ranks highest in customer satisfaction with dealer service among luxury brands and receives an award for a second consecutive year. Lexus achieves an overall CSI score of 837 on a 1,000-point scale and performs particularly well in four of the five measures: service quality; service initiation; service advisor; and service facility. Rounding out the top five nameplates in the premium segment are Cadillac (827), Jaguar (822), Acura (817) and BMW (816).”

Staten Island RX drivers have known for a long time that Lexus offers some of the best service on the market. Couple that with a serious approach to new engine technology and a reputation for dependability (especially in direct competition with other high-quality luxury brands), and you will see why Lexus has built such a high brand loyalty over the last several years. When you visit a Staten Island Lexus RX hybrid dealership, you’re going to get a taste of what manufacturers all across the globe should be doing to improve their images.
